The Art of Imperfection
This one really is simple. Though it may be the hardest for many of us to do.
You know when it happens. You have the plans laid, the image of what you will create/ launch/ offer/ introduce so perfect in your head that absolutely *nothing* can get in the way of making it a reality.
But then- *something* does get in the way of making it a reality. Or at least, making sure that it isn't *Perfect*.
We've all been there at some point or another. Nothing is perfect. Nothing. Everything has a crack in it. Everyone has their scars. Everyday has it's challenges. Every Body has it's hurts and pains and weaknesses. It's easy to get upset about these things. To get angry and flustered and downright MAD sometimes. To get caught up in how things are not perfect. In how I am not perfect.
The real Work, the real Art, is to realize that these imperfections, these scars, these blemishes in who we are, what we do and what we offer, is really what makes us Perfect after all. It's the Art of Imperfection. The Art of seeing the beauty, the light, in these things that go wrong. And instead of getting upset by them, we chose to learn the lesson, move on, LET GO of our visions of perfection, and thus THRIVE from their presence.
Here's to Thriving in the Art of Imperfection and whole-heartedly Letting Go.
