So Comes Love

Out of all of my tattoos, this one~ so comes love~ draws the most attention.

Not planned, I got this simple phrase {steeped in meaning} last minute after 'accidentally' handing the following poem to my tattoo artist when I had my Raven inked on my back in 2011.

Medicine for both of us that day, my artist added this as a gift~ for the gift I gave her of the poem her heart needed.

Today as calls and texts, clients, sessions and friends all seemed to be struggling with some version of the same themes, I found myself coming back to this poem over and over again.

I'll let the poem speak for itself... I hope it offers to you all the love it's offered me, so many today and countless friends & clients over the years.

My tattoo happens to be the last line ❤️

let it go ~
e.e. cummings

let it go – the
smashed word broken
open vow or
the oath cracked length
wise – let it go it
was sworn to

let them go – the
truthful liars and
the false fair friends
and the boths and
neithers – you must let them go they
were born
to go

let all go – the
big small middling
tall bigger really
the biggest and all
things – let all go

so comes love
